Hello there! Thank you for clicking onto my blog. My name is Hayley, and I am a student at the University of Miami. Even though this blog was created for a class, I hope that it will be much more than that.
I am a marine science and geology major. I do not know exactly which direction this blog will go in, but most of my posts will surround those topics. I hope to make science readable for a wide audience. When reading scientific papers, even I find it difficult sometimes to stay engaged and take in all the information. Scientific papers can be dry and full of confusing statistics. I hope to be the bridge between scientific researchers and people who are curious about the workings of our planet.
